Members Only Wine Consortium & Co-op  — the details

Some of the World’s most inspiring wines are hand-selected by our Wine Director and Sommelier, along with women-featured winemakers recommendations and access to global pairings with by a Certified Global Master Chef.

Unlike most clubs, we hand-select labels from every major wine-growing region around the globe. With the Co-op wine power advantage, we help to diversify your portfolio and enrich your life.

Member fees and markup help cover the business overhead ( property compliance, licenses, annual fees, insurance, etc). Price “markup” is only 8-10% over our wholesale pricing and will be used to offset costs.  Additional costs to the buyers are Florida tax, transaction fees, and/or credit card fees.

The “markup” fee will be evaluated, initially, every 2-3 months to preserve the health of the co-op, but the goal is to maximize savings for the members, participate in wine tastings events, and have wine purchasing power at discount pricing. 

At by Women, we are committed to providing our clients with a great investing experience.  Own wines are picked for maximum appreciation and enjoyment for each price point. We do the hard work of evaluating, insuring, and receiving your wine.   It’s about the access to concierge service and private events that include access to the yachting, entertainment, culinary, and arts arenas — offered solely to our members.

“I love to take care of my clients while indulging in wine. I am a Certified Sommelier and consider myself a “Pairing Phenom”,  with 15+years of experience in pairings,  planning, and event design for the restaurant & non-profit industry.  I was inducted into Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, which is the world’s oldest international gastronomic society founded in Paris in 1248.  Along with becoming a part of  Société Mondiale du Vin (“Mondiale”),  created to promote the enjoyment, knowledge,  and understanding of fine wines.  To that end, I have been a featured “Somm” multiple times at the James Beard Foundation House and procured wines for numerous events in the USA (CA, WA, VA, NY), Canada, France, Africa, Monaco, India, and Monte Carlo. ”  

Jenneffer is one of the initial two founders and was the groundbreaking Wine Director of Cress Restaurant, until she retired in 2021.  It was a business dedicated to improving our food system, through local sources, sustainable practices, and refined flavours.

Originally, during the inception of the restaurant in 2008, she noted that “Cress had relationships with where their food came from, with the individuals who were growing them: the farmers, the fishermen, the cattlemen. Sustainability rests on the principle that we must continue to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations.”
